Ugandans Edgar Watson and Mark Ssonko have been appointed for different roles at the 2016 African Nations Championships (CHAN) finals in Rwanda.
Watson who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of the Uganda Football Associations (FUFA)was named as part of the Technical Study Group that will be based in Rubavu.
Ssonko who was voted FUFA referee of the year 2015 is an assistant FIFA referee who will be making his second successive appearance at the CHAN Finals. He is also fresh from officiating at the Africa U-23 Championships in Senegal.

‘FUFA is glad that our football officials and administrators are being assigned various roles at big tournaments. We believe they will gain more experience from CHAN finals’ said FUFA Spokesperson Ahmed Hussein.
Watson is a member of the CAF Technical and Development Committee.
