FUFA has once again registered another victory in court after successfully objecting to another miscellaneous application No. 21 of 2015 filed by Super sport against FUFA and Azam Media Ltd.
This was the third application filed by Supersport in another court after the dismissal of two applications filed at the Commercial Court last Thursday on 5th February, 2015.
This morning, Super sport withdrew the miscellaneous application No. 21 of 2015 after FUFA successfully objected to the propriety of the proceedings before His Worship the Registrar of the Civil Division High Court Festo Nsenga.
FUFA’s victory is further green light to the preparations for the Azam Uganda Premier League kick off under the new broadcast partners.
The FUFA Legal committee chairman Luganda said shortly after the court hearing
‘We are ready to protect the interests of football partners in Uganda. Our football fans , Sponsors and teams should not be worried by these cases not based on facts. We are here to help and guide our colleagues who are going astray in football with propaganda’
