With the hosts not being able to provide a better training ground under flights for Cranes, coupled with the five hour journey from Addis Ababa, head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic gave his players ample time to rest shortly after lunch but with a programme in mind- a training session.

The Serbian who felt it necessary to have his players tune up for the match on Wednesday, improvised the team’s hotel gardens to take the boys through simple drills of warm up, ball handling, combination and team work basics. Indeed the boys were in jovial mood as they went about the session that lasted one hour before they returned to their rooms.

‘This session has been good. I can see smiles on the players’ faces unlike Saturday night after the loss to Togo’ said Sredojevic.

‘I have confidence and high hopes in the group that is here to deliver on Wednesday. I’m preparing the boys mentally to focus on this game as a cup final’ the Serbian further revealed.

The Uganda Cranes will have a stipulated training session tomorrow at 3.30pm (Local time), 6.30pm EAST at the Stade De Kutgue in Lome.
