Uganda Cranes forced a 2-all draw in juba on Tuesday in an international friendly match played to commemorate the country’s first independence anniversary.
Kenyan referee Thomas Onyango was in charge of the game watched by a moderate audience. Jubal Mwangawilo and Brasan Mamati were his assistants. Ceaser Okhuti and Julius Ogwang scored for Uganda in the 7th and 39th minute respectively.
Uganda played without any of its professional players and the senior home based boys. Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson who was in Juba said the intention was mainly to give the home based young players an exposure. Leo Adra headed the technical bench.
