Cranes work out at Stade De Kegue in Lome

The Uganda Cranes trained today at the venue for tomorrow’s 2015 Nations cup qualifier against Togo.

The boys who are in good spirits and ready to go had a one hour training session that was watched by FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo and Ntenjeru MP Patrick Nsanja. The duo arrived at 1pm today in Lome aboard Ethiopian Airlines.

Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic will however keep his fingers crossed on striker Yunus Junior Sentamu who is battling malaria that hit him yesterday evening.

The coach is still hopeful that the AS Vita striker will recover in time for the game.

The training session was also watched by some local fans who got the chance to enter the stadium.

Meanwhile CAF confirmed that there won’t be traditional handshakes between sets of players in tomorrow’s game as a precautionary measure on the deadly Ebola virus.
