Uganda National women football side-Crested Cranes has this evening (on Friday) arrived safely in the Kenyan City of Kisumu ahead of the international friendly on Sunday July 3rd at the Moi Sports Complex.
The Ugandan contingent with their Leader of Delegation (Woman representative on the FUFA Executive) Ms. Agnes Mugena were received by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Vice President Doris Petra and the International Match Orgainsing Committee (IMOC) chairperson Mr. Micheal Ouma among other officials from the host federation.

The team was provided with Saturday’s programme which will include light jogging in the morning at 7 O’clock before heading to the match venue to watch a Kenyan Premier league game between Chemelil FC and AFC Leopards. The team will later have the chance to train from the stadium for their only session ahead of Sunday’s encounter.

Meanwhile Christine Wanyana was named captain of the Crested Cranes while Stella Nasuna Kaliba is the assistant catain
The team is accomodated at the Vittoria Suites hotel in Kisumu.
