Coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has named Crested Cranes travelling squad to Algeria for the return leg in the 2024 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
The first leg at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Wednesday ended in a 2-1 defeat for Uganda.
The squad named has 20 players with three goalkeepers, six defenders, four midfielders and seven forwards.
The team will depart Entebbe International Airport on Saturday morning (4:50am) aboard Turkish Airlines.
FUFA EXCO member Rasoul Ariga heads the contingent as the Leader of Delegation.
The return leg will be played on 26th September 2023 with the winner on aggregate facing either Burundi or Ethiopia at the final qualification round.
