Ahead of the trip to Turkey for an international tournament due later this month, Uganda National U-17 team is raring to go. The youngsters are camped at the FUFA Technical Centre is camped at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
According to 1st assistant coach, Jackson Magera, the boys are responding pretty well to the training sessions and he hopes in this space of ten days in camp they will be ready for the task ahead in Turkey with an eye on the 2019 Total AFCON Finals in Tanzania due 14th-28th April.
‘The boys are in good shape and responding well. We have no injuries and everything is fine. We expect to improve in very many areas technically in the next 10 days before we fly out to Europe’ said Magera
The Uganda Cubs are drawing plans on how they can produce the final team that can favorably compete in AFCON finals.
On Wednesday, the 30 players in camp will have one training session at Jinja SS in the afternoon as the FUFA Technical Center will be in use with BUL FC hosting Sc Villa at 4:30pm in StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
