Uganda’s national women’s football head coach, Sheryl Botes, and instructors Sharon Kizza and Majidah Nantanda, are advancing their expertise as coach instructors through the prestigious CAF Women’s Instructors Development Programme in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Spearheaded by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), this initiative empowers female technical educators across the continent, equipping them with cutting-edge knowledge and skills to elevate women’s football standards in Africa.
Through intensive training sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities, Coaches Botes, Kizza, and Nantanda will enhance their coaching and instructional abilities, enabling them to develop and inspire the next generation of Ugandan women’s football stars upon their return.
This programme reinforces FUFA’s commitment to nurturing local talent and highlights the growing importance of women’s football in Uganda and beyond.
