A delegation of local football Secretaries and some members of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) are in buoyant mood upon completion of the Football Administration and Management Course (FAMACO level II) at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
The course was organized at the request of the South Sudan FA to FUFA with the clearance of both CAF and FIFA.
The participants were trained and equipped with relevant football management and administration skills.
The Ag. Secretary General of SSFA Anthony John Lauro expressed his gratitude at the end of the course.
‘I thank FUFA for being a generous ‘Big’ brother who is always willing to share priceless knowledge and skills with its ‘young brother’ South Sudan by agreeing to organize such training that will spur the development of football in our country to greater levels’
The rest of the secretaries were equally happy with the course in Njeru.

‘We shall apply the knowledge got from here to plan for our Women National team and development of the game. We are still lacking a lot in regard to women football but we are going to use the knowledge we have received to set ourselves on the right path to development’
FUFA 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha who represented FUFA president Moses Magogo at the closing ceremony urged the participants not to be mean with the knowlege and skills acquired but to share with the rest of their colleagues who did not attend such that they can collectively improve the level of football in their country.
‘I bring you greetings from our FUFA President who really wanted to be part of this course but was away on official duties. However I want to re-echo his message and the instructors that this knowledge and skills acquired here will only be relevant if you share it and put it to use’ said Mugisha
The course modules covered areas Development Programmes, Marketing, Communications, finance management, football organization, competitions, strategic planning, human resource management, football governance, events and match organization, drawing of long term projects for football development. The instructors were Justus Mugisha, Rogers Byamukama, Humphrey Mandu, Ali Mwebe, Decolas Kiiza and Ahmed Hussein.
