The race for qualification to the top flight-FUFA Super League (FSL) continues today at Mandela National stadium with The saints FC playing host to Mutundwe Lions. Each Group winner in the FUFA Big League is guaranteed of progress to the FSL but the third slot is decided after a play off for teams that finish second and third in each group with the one legged final also lined up. As it stands, Baza are on top of the table sharing the same points (28) with Lweza FC who beat Wandegeya 2-1 yesterday.
The Saints will be pout to make it better against Mutundwe Lions as they conceded a late equaliser in the first when the drew 1-1 in Lubiri.
Mutundwe Lions still believe in their team and play off position is till within touching distance but will have to contend with life against the saints who have won all their opening games in the second round so far.
Mutundwe will rely on the services of Bunkedeko Badru, Sempagama Peter, Njiri Christopher, Buwembo Ronald and Kateregga Ronald.
The Saints have Geoffrey Buni and Vianney Ssekajugo (on target in the game against VCC in Masindi). They will welcome back Farook Kawooya from suspension and Julius Madepi from injury lay off.
