Tenga who is also the CECAFA president however added that for Uganda’s football to continue prospering there was need to have a well-organized national league saying this was the prime  reason for the workshop .

FUFA President Lawrence Mulindwa officially opened the workshop and called for unity and cooperation between FUFA and the clubs playing in the country’s top tier. “We need to get more united and avoid having two leagues…it won’t help our football” Mulindwa pleaded. The workshop attended by club chairmen and secretaries is facilitated by FIFA and CAF officials.
