FIFA Congress: FUFA officials off to Mexico

  • The 66th FIFA Congress will be held in Mexico City on 12th and 13th May, 2016

  • FUFA top brass Eng. Magogo, VP Mugisha and CEO Watson hold bilateral meetings with new FIFA President Gianni Infantino

  • Darius Mugoye is Ag. FUFA President while Decolas Kiiza is the Ag. Chief Executive Officer

 

FUFA’s strong delegation of President Eng. Moses Magogo, 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha and Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson will fly out tonight to Mexico for the 66th FIFA Congress on 12th and 13th May, 2016.

The FIFA Congress is the organisation’s supreme body.

During their stay in Mexico, the FUFA top brass will hold bilateral meetings outside the Congress with the new FIFA President Gianni Infantino all aimed at developing Ugandan football.

The FIFA Congress will also discuss developmental issues about football around the globe.

‘Football Development programmes in Uganda will be the agenda in our meeting with FIFA President.  We shall make use of every opportunity to discuss about football development while in Mexico’ said FUFA President Eng. Magogo.

In the absence of Eng. Magogo, the 2nd Vice President Darius Mugoye is the Ag. FUFA President  while Decolas Kiiza is the Ag. Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Mugoye will also represent the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo at the swearing ceremony of President Elect of the Republic of Uganda HE General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Thursday at Kololo Ceremonial grounds.
