Planning remains a key pillar for any institution world over.
It plays the crucial foundational role upon which polices, strategies and vital road marks are bent.
It is upon this rich back ground that Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has organized a four year planning and strategic workshop.
The workshop, being coordinated by the FUFA CEO, Edgar Watson officially got underway on Monday, 15th August 2016 at Kuku Hall, Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala.

FIFA Instructor Edmund Coan and FIFA Development Officer, Patrick Onyango are main workshop facilitators.
FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo officially opened the four day workshop.
“We are glad for FIFA for fully supporting the federation in the planning exercise of the beautiful game” Eng Magogo told the participants.

The day one programme included topics as creating team environment, strategic planning processes, introduction of situational analysis and the stake holders’ situation analysis.
“In football planning and development, it is crucial to recognize the different roles played by stakeholders who are FIFA, FUFA, Government, media, sponsors and other commercial partners” Edmund Coan remarked.

The workshop attendants are FUFA officials and other key stake holders in the football development cause – club administrators, Government and State House officials.
The workshop will climax on Thursday, August 18th.
