FIFA Rankings: Uganda moves up by three places to 67th, Cape Verde is Africa’s best

Uganda has improved by three places in the latest FIFA Rankings released on Thursday. Uganda was 70th in February but the new rankings the CECAFA champions at number 67.
Uganda’s bets ever ranking is 62 attained in December, 2015. Uganda is ranked 13th in Africa.

Belgium remains at the top of the FIFA rankings while Cape Verde Islands is Africa’s best at number 31.
The Uganda Cranes are preparing for the two crucial 2017 Nations cup qualifiers against Burkina Faso to be played on 26th and 29th March, 2016.

Uganda’s opponents in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers; Burkina Faso are 86th, Botswana 92nd and Comoros 173rd.

Uganda 67th, Rwanda 85th, Kenya 103rd, Ethiopia 120th, Tanzania 125th, Burundi 129th, Sudan 135th, South Sudan 140th, Djibouti (204th), Eritrea (204th), Somalia (204th)
