Uganda stayed in position 75 according to the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday 5th May 2016.
Uganda has 491 points and lie 16th in Africa.
All teams in the Top 50 maintained their positions this month because there was none of any A-international matches played in April 2016.

Uganda’s opponents in the 2017 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers Burkina Faso, Botswana and Comoros also stayed in 75th, 91st and 159th positions respectively.
In the region, Uganda maintains the highest ranking followed by Rwanda (87), Kenya who dropped a slot to 116th, Burundi (122), Sudan (128) and Tanzania (129).
The Philippines may have failed to qualify for the next round of 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in the AFC region, but the Azkals get to celebrate a milestone in the May Ranking. Thomas Dooley’s men moved up one rank this month to reach their best ever position on the FIFA/Cola-Cola World Ranking (115).
For May, UEFA has 30 teams in the Top 50, CONMEBOL 8, CAF 7, CONCACAF 3, AFC 2 and OFC 0.
The next rankings will be released on 2nd June 2016.
