FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers: We are preparing players for game situations, Micho

Uganda Cranes team (mainly composed of local based players) continues with preparations for the upcoming double encounter against neighbors Rwanda in Kigali and Wakiso.

The team has trained at Lugogo on Tuesday morning and conducted intensive training session under the watchful eye of Serbian tactician Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic, alongside members of the technical team.

Talking to www.fufa.co.ug after the session, Micho disclosed that in this second phase, he is preparing the team for competitive match situations before the Rwanda encounter. 

‘We have started the second phase of our preparations for Rwanda after a successful Eastern Region Tour.  We are planning to have two practice matches against KCCA on Thursday and Vipers on Sunday to prepare the boys in match situations as we wait for the foreign based players are expected to start joining the camp by Monday.’ Said  Coach Micho.

The team is residing at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi.
