CHAN 2016 Qualifiers:
17th October 2015 – Uganda Vs Sudan – Kampala, Uganda
24th October 2015 –Sudan Vs Uganda – Khartoum, Sudan
Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has released the budget totaling to U.shs 500M for the upcoming CHAN 2016 double header qualification match between the Uganda Cranes and Sudan.
FUFA finance director, Decolas Kizza told the media on Wednesday that FUFA has already engaged the Government of Uganda to come for assistance.
We thank Government of Uganda and His Excellency, Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the timely financial assistance when Uganda was traveling to Comoros. For the Sudan two encounters, we need atleast 500M to plan for the two games.
Uganda hosts Sudan first on 17th September 2015 before traveling away for the return leg on 24th October 2015 in Sudan.
The winner over the two legs will qualify to CHAN finals in 2016 that will be hosted by Rwanda.
