BUL FC made their intentions clear on Tuesday as they swept aside Mbarara Sports Academy with a blistering performance at the ongoing 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League National Finals.
The Eastern Giants were ruthless from the word go, and eventually claimed maximum points to hit the ground running.
Swabir Mpasa orchestrated the damage, coming through with a hat trick while Richard Okello aka Swengere complimented with a brace.
The breakthrough for BUL FC came in the 34th minute with Mpasa’s ferocious strike from the free kick going straight into the back of the net.
Okello scored two goals in quick succession (61st and 62nd minute) to stretch the lead for BUL FC Junior team.
Mpasa came back to haunt the Western region Champions, scoring twice in the final two minutes to complete his hat trick.
Victory takes BUL FC Junior team to second place with three points from one game.
They will return to action on Wednesday with a game against Prosper Soccer Academy while Mbarara Sports Academy will face Friends of Soccer FC.
