The 3 day football Administration & Management Course (FAMACO) concluded on Sunday 11th December 2016 at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
Justus Mugisha (FUFA 1st Vice President) also a FIFA Instructor presided over at the event and urged the participants to spread the gospel of football administration and management to all the corners as well as motivating the participants to protect the values and goodwill of our game.
We as a football association are doing our part to provide continual education and training opportunitiess as also adding to the Vision 2019 in terms of capacity building
The Managing Director of the organizing company Tangosport Uganda Joseph Mutaka commended participants for their dedication and commitment towards the course
Coming here to attend is different but making yourselves available fully for the course is special.
I’m thrilled with the level of dedication and commitment exhibited by participants towards this course.
I also take this opportunity to thank the FUFA and Eastern region football associations for granting Tangosport Uganda permission to organise this course.
Paul Kulumba on behalf of the course attendees, stating that “we are the lucky beneficiaries of this course and the journey has started now, from now onwards we are FUFA, thus we have the humble task of leading the game from within our regions.”
FIFA administration and Management Instructor Justus Mugisha also came through at the course, taking the participants through FIFA and Member Associations, organizational structures.
The other course instructors Samuel Mpima and Decolas Kiiza encouraged the participants to keep upgrading themselves by continuously reading more on what the game has to offer, via the internet as well as through the various networking opportunities that has been created.
The 3 day course participants included the club Sports Journalists, Administrators, First Division League Administrators, Women Football administrators, Clubs’ team Managers as well as Youth Football administrators.
Meanwhile, Tangosport Uganda used the same event to give out licenses to coaches who studied FUFA Level one coaching course in September
