Entebbe FC are still battling for their dear lives in the FUFA Super League. The 1-1 draw picked up today against Kira came with a sigh of relief for a team that needs points at this stage of the season. Moses Sekasana gave Entebbe the lead at Nambole stadium before Patrick Kaddu go the equaliser for Kira. The valuable point for Entebbe saw them jump out of relegation zone while Proline drops in the troubled waters. Both Proline and Entebbe are tied on 16 points but the latter has a better goal difference.
In Wakiso district at Kavumba stadium, URA’s Augustine Nsumba was the hero of the day as he saved Paul Nkata’s team with a leveler against Police. The match ended 1-1. Nsumba cancelled out Andrew Basoma’s opener.
URA remained second on the table with 41 points while Vipers enjoy the summit with a two point lead.
