SCVU 2-2 KCC

There was drama at Mandela National stadium, Namboole as the two teams KCC FC and SCVU played to a 2-2 draw. The drama itself was not about any ugly incident of the game but the manner in which the teams shared the spoils. Half time saw Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) take the lead though Uganda Cranes player Denis Iguma on 26 minutes. Captain Ghadafi Kiwanuka netted the equalizer on 76 minutes shortly before Yassar Mugerwa was introduced for Noan Semakula to beef up SCVU’s attack. The substitution paid off ten minutes later at Mugerwa who was playing his trade in the FUFA Big League last season with Nkumba University found the back of the ne to hand SCVU a 2-1 lead. KCC FC played deep in SCVU’s half for the final moments of the game and their efforts paid off with a late equalizer in added time.  Ronnie Kisekka salvaged a point for the reigning champions
