The 2016/17 FUFA Big League resumed and had five matches played on Thursday.
A total of 17 goals were scored in the five games. Masavu defeated Kireka United 2-1 at the Katabi play ground in Entebbe to go top of the Rwenzori group with 20 points.
Kenneth Tumusiime and Charles Odeke scored for Masavu whilst Tonny Kiguli got Kireka United’s consolation.
Maroons won away from home 2-1 against Sporting United. Maroons now close the gap on leaders Ndejje University.
Kira United and Paidha Black Angels played to a one all draw.
