The two teams have ten points apiece but the hosts are top of the log on a superior goal difference of nine while the visiting NEC has only four goals.
Coach Mark Twinamasiko of Kitara FC is confident that they will use home advantage plus the experience to register maximum points against their rivals.
‘In a league where games are played on a home and a way basis, you have to utilise the home advantage to collect points. We are hosting a well organized NEC FC which is on our neck on the table but we are more experienced and well prepared to collect maximum points.’ He said.
While NEC FC Tactician Charles Lukyamuzi says they are ready for the showdown, hoping to return to winning ways.
‘’We have prepared for Kitara like we do for other teams. We are not under any pressure and we shall play our usual way of creating chances and ensure that we convert them.” Lukyamuzi indicated.
