The second highest tier football competition in the country, The FUFA Big league had 3 games played over the weekend.
Only one fixture was played in the Rwenzori group.
The Saints F.C and Water F.C played to a one all draw.
Fred Kyambadde and Shafik Kuchi Kagimu scored for The Saints and Water respectively.
Both goals were scored within the closing 2 minutes of the first half at Mandela national stadium, Namboole.
Water F.C midfielder, Robert Mugisha was sent for a dangerous foul on Viane Sekajugo mid way the second half.
Water F.C remains top of Rwenzori group with 17 points while The Saints and Sporting each follow closely with 16 apiece.
In the two Elgon games played, VCC shocked Cream land at the Kabale Municipal Stadium with a 1 – 2 victory.
Cosmas Diva and Simon Mutumba got VCC’s goals.
Meanwhile, Kireka United continued with their superb form, winning 2 – 1 over Synergy from Masaka.
The FUFA Big league will resume on Thursday 27th November with 7 fixtures.
