In a bid to deliver Integrity, Fitness and Performance (IFP), Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) held an integrated training for FIFA and FUFA Referees.
The training was hosted at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in Kampala, the home of KCCA Football Club on Monday, 1st December 2020.
According to the chairperson of the Referees Association who is also a member of the FUFA Executive Ronnie Kalema, the purpose of this training was to assess the fitness levels of the referees ahead of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League kick-off this Wednesday, 3rd November 2020.
‘The exercise of the integrated training for our FIFA and FUFA Referees progressed well. We are ready to deliver in the top tier league’ Kalema stated.
A total of 50 attended the exercise and all the referees were tested for COVID-19 which is a requirement by the Government of Uganda.
