Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has extended a helping hand in the area of administration to one of its 33 Members-Express FC following a request by the club’s chairperson Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi.
In a letter dated 26th January, 2017 and addressed to the FUFA Chief Executive Officer, the request hinged on the local football body providing the red eagles with a trained person for a six month period.
‘FUFA seconded one of its secretariat staff Ivan Kintu Bayige to play a key role on a six month period as CEO for Express FC as per the request by one of our members. We shall keep extending such services to our Member Associations depending based on requests’
FUFA has made it mandatory for any club playing in the Azam Uganda Premier League to employ a trained person (CEO) who has attended the FUFA administration courses.
