For the fourth year running, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations(FUFA) will host FUFA Corporate Tournament.
The annual gala which brings together several Corporate entities comes bigger and better this year with teams already confirming participation.
According to Esther Musoke, the FUFA Marketing Director, twenty companies have so far confirmed registration ahead of the tournament slated for 28th April 2018 at Kampala International School Uganda(KISU) in Bukoto.
“ A total of twenty teams have already registered but we believe more will come on board,” she stated during the FUFA weekly press briefing on Wednesday at FUFA House.
Musoke indicated that the deadline for registration will be 20th April 2018 and thereafter draws for the groups will be conducted.
Among the companies that have confirmed registration include Uganda Cranes sponsors; Airtel Uganda, National Insurance Corporation(NIC), Nile Breweries Limited, Eco Bank and Bidco.
The others are UMEME Limited, National Water and Sewerage Corporation( NWSC), Kyagalanyi Coffee, Sadolin Paints, Diamond Trust Bank, Uganda Premier League Secretariat, Gals Sports Betting, Red Pepper, Post Bank , SSL Logistics, Asiatic Sports, Stanbic Bank, SOGEA-SATOM Construction and 102.1 FUFA fm.
The winner of this year’s edition will get a cash prize of three million shillings, a trophy and 20 medals.
SSL Logistics Limited are the current holders. They defeated CAA in the final last year at KISU.
