Members of the public and football lovers have started delivering clothes and other items towards FUFA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activity. Attached to the 2015/2016 Uganda cup as communicated at its launch last year, FUFA will be giving back to the communities through football to put smiles on their faces.

‘We have identified a charity organization called Missionaries of the Poor based in Mutundwe that will be the beneficiaries of this year’s project’ said Ahmed Hussein

On Wednesday FUFA continued to receive the items and later placed in the big container reserved for this project.

‘We shall attach a CSR activity by collecting clothes and other items that we shall give back to a selected charity organisation within the region that hosts the Uganda cup final. FUFA has also asked its 32 Members to join the cause’ said FUFA Spokesperson Ahmed Hussein during the launch of the 2015/2016 Uganda Cup.

‘We shall also receive donations from individuals who might not be able to make it to these selected centres. FUFA has plans of picking these donations from them’ added Ahmed

The items will be handed over a week after the Cup final. A team that wins the Uganda Cup will accompany FUFA officials to deliver the items.
