The FUFA Drum 2018 Match Day 1: Winners of Man of the Match Cash prize

The FUFA Drum kicked off over the weekend. It was action packed across the country with 24 goals scored in the 8 games inclusive of the 89th minute equalizer by Ayop Majid for Karamoja Province against West Nile Province at the Boma Grounds in Moroto.

FUFA rewarded every Man of the Match with a cash prize of 100,000/- (One Hundred Thousand Shillings Only).

Hard work indeed pays.

Man of the Match: Joel Madondo (Busoga, J-Kirinya SS)

Buganda 0-1 Kigezi

Man of the Match: Derrick Mudali (Kigezi, Uganda Martyrs University-Nkozi)

Ankole 2-1 Tooro

Man of the Match: Asumani Alishe Kihogo (Ankole, Mbarara City FC)

Bukedi 0-1 Kampala

Man of the Match: Tahomera Benon (Bukedi, Myda FC, Malaba in Tororo)

FUFA 2nd VP Darius Mugoye hands over the MOTM cash to Bukedi’s Defender Tahomera Benon. FUFA Finance Director Decolas Kiiza (L) and Harunah Kebba all watched the game that saw Kampala score late on.

Teso 8-0 Sebei

Man of the Match: Ben Ocen (Teso, Police FC)

Ben Ocen netted a brace as Teso defeated Sebei 8-0. Ocen was named Man of the match. He is seen here receiving the cash prize from Hon Anita Among. FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo and FUFA Drum Chairman Rogers Byamukama watched the match in Bukedea.

Lango 0-2 Acholi

Man of the Match: Deogratius Ojok (Acholi, JMC Hippos).
