The FUFA Drum action resumed over the weekend with a number of games played as different provinces intensified their intentions for excellence this season.
Goalkeepers play a crucial role for the team to win games by making saves whenever the defence line is beaten and this was the case on match day 2 over the weekend.
Of the eight games played across the country, four goalkeepers were named the best players in the respective games played.
These included Derrick Ochan(Acholi), Nafian Alionzi (West Nile), Isaac Kwizera(Rwenzori) and Steven Mukamba(Bugisu).

Tooro Province 2-0 Kampala Province
Scorers:
Anwar Mustapher Ntege ( 2goals, Ndejje University FC)
MoM: Anwar Mustapher (Tooro Province -Ndejje University FC)
Venue: St. Paul’s Seminary Grounds Kinyamashika in Fort Portal
Tooro Province condemned Kampala to their second successive loss winning the game 2-0.
Victory elevated them top in group A on four points same as Rwenzori who held Busoga to a goalless draw in Bundibugyo.
Sebei Province 1-2 Buganda Province

Robert Sentongo 2 goals (Buganda-Kyetume FC)
MoM: Isaac Doka Mweru (Sebei-Admin FC)
Venue: Kiproitich Stadium Kapchorwa
For the second successive game, Isaac Doka Mweru was named man of the match despite Sebei Province losing to Buganda.
He was also named man of the match as Sebei fell 3-2 to Ankole Province on match day one.
Lango Province 3-0 Ankole Province
Scorers:
Timothy Awany (KCCA FC), Dennis Omedi (Amuka Bright Stars FC) and Moses Aliro ( Dove All Stars FC)
MoM: Timothy Awany (Lango-KCCA FC)
Venue: UTC Lira
Lango Province recovered from the 1-0 loss to holders Buganda on match day one to run riot past Ankole at home.
Defender Timothy Awany who plies his trade at KCCA FC emerged man of the match.
Bunyoro Province 1-2 Acholi Province
Scorers: Jasper Aheebwa (Bunyoro-Mbarara City)
Tito Okello (Acholi-Vipers SC)
MoM: Derick Ochan (Acholi-Vipers SC)
Venue: Kigaya Primary School playground, Hoima
Acholi got their second successive win of the season as they beat Bunyoro 2-1.
Vipers SC goalkeeper Derick Ochan was key for Acholi making several saves and eventually named the best player in the game.

Rwenzori Province 0-0 Busoga Province
MoM: Isaac Kwizera (Rwenzori-New Villa FC)
Venue: Nyahuka playground, Bundibugyo
Shot stopper Isaac Kwizera who plays for New Villa FC stood tall to help Rwenzori hold Busoga to a goalless draw making several saves on the day.
Karamoja Province 0-1 West Nile Province

MoM: Alionzi Nafian Legason (West Nile-URA FC)
Venue: St Daniel Comboni Primary School, Kotido
Another goalkeeper who put up a good display on match day two.
West Nile recovered from their loss to Bunyoro on match day one to edge past Karamoja.
Teso Province 0-0 Bugisu Proviunce
MoM: Steven Mukamba ( Bugisu- CRO FC)
Venue: Soroti Sports Ground, Soroti
Bugisu earned a point in their game against neighbours Teso in the game played at Soroti Sports Ground.
Steven Mukamba who plays for CRO was brilliant on the day making several saves to deny Teso.
Kigezi Province 1-2 Bukedi Province

Venue; Kabale Municipal, Kabale
Bukedi Province just like Tooro, Acholi and Buganda also won their second successive game defeating Kigezi 2-1.
Bukedi captain Ronald Musana was named the man of the match.
