FUFA Executive Committee has given a waiver for the requirements of coaches in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League ahead of the 2023/24 season.
It should be noted that the minimum requirement for a head coach competing in the top tier league had been set at CAF A, starting with the 2023/24 season.
However, the FUFA EXCO took a decision to maintain the previous minimum requirement of CAF B License for both the head coach and assistant coach positions.
The CAF A requirement has been pushed to the next season (2024/25) when it will be put into effect.
In that regard, FUFA will organize a CAF A coaching course in the near future and all coaches eligible are encouraged to attend and be prepared when registration opens up.
