The FUFA Executive will conduct a countrywide tour of the eight Regional Football Associations starting this week.
The routine engagement with the lower league clubs and other football stakeholders will also include members of the members of the Regional Football Associations.
The 8 regions are; West Nile Region Football Associations, Northern Region Football Associations, North East Region Football Associations, Eastern Region Football Associations, Buganda Region Football Associations, Kampala, Region Football Associations, Western Region Football Associations and Kitara Region Football Associations.
The main objectives of this interaction led by the FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim is to, among others:
- Explain the detailed programmes of FUFA in regard to grassroots football
- Hear first-hand challenges faced by lower leagues in Uganda
- Respond to issues raised by the football and other stakeholders; and
- Agree on a way forward.
The FUFA Executive is expected to meet the following groups:
- The respective Regional Football Association (RFA) Executive members
- The respective District Football Association (DFA) Executive members
- The National Delegates from the respective DFAs
- One representative for each club in the men’s 3 rd Division League
- One representative from each of the men’s 4 th Division League
- One representative from each of the women’s 3 rd Division League
