Vipers Juniors team are the champions of the 2015/16 FUFA Juniors Elite league.
This is after the team’s 4-1 post match penalty victory that followed a goal-less draw of normal time in the final played at Kawempe Muslim S.S play ground on Wednesday evening.
Vipers Junior goalie, Derrick Ochan was the hero saving two penalties to give his team the advantage as his teammates successfully converted.
FUFA second Vice president, Darius Mugoye was the chief guest at the well attended closing play-off matches.
Players and officials of the top three clubs received medals of recognition with the excelling players given trophies and special medals as well.
All the 16 premier league sides had junior teams playing the FUFA Juniors Elite league as a requirement that was put in place by FUFA in the club licensing procedure in the road to professionalization of league football in the country.
Clubs that will be relegated from the top tier league will automatically have their U-17 sides relegated to the second U-17 league group.

Top Scorer: Hamis Tibita (Bul Junior Team) – 9 Goals
Best Goalkeeper: Derrick Ochan (Vipers Juniors Team)
