Key points about the FUFA U-19 Juniors League

- 16 teams attached to the clubs in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League are taking part

FUFA Competitions Department has released the fixtures for 2018/2019 FUFA U-19 Juniors League. The latest development also comes on the back of confirmation that players under 19 years of age will allowed to take part in the league. The league will revert to the U-17 Category next season to tap another crop of players in that category.
The league kicks off on Sunday 7th October 2018.
The league involves 16 teams that are divided into two groups codenamed -Treble and Hat-trick-8 teams per group.
The Treble group: KCCA FC SA, Police Armless Brigade, Maroons FC JT, URA FC JT, Vipers SC JT, Paidha Black Angles FC JT, Onduparaka FC JT and Ndejje University FC JT.
The Hat Trick group: Tooro United FC JT, Express FC JT, SC Villa FC JT, Bright Stars FC JT, Nyamityobora FC JT, Mbarara City FC JT, BUL FC JT, and Kirinya Jinja SS FC JT.
The league shall be played over 3 rounds but matches for the third round will be determined by FUFA Competition rules 2018/2019.
Vipers SC JT emerged champions of 2017/2018 season after beating Onduparaka FC JT in the final at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.
