FUFA lifts Sc Villa’s suspension following submission of suspects on hooliganism

FUFA has lifted the suspended deduction of two points and two goals against SC Villa after the Jogoos availed Uganda Police and Competitions Disciplinary Panel list of seven individual suspects that may have got involved in acts of hooliganism in the league game with Wakiso Giants FC on 11th November 2022 at Mutessa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

The list submitted has; Mukwasi Bashir, Geoffrey a.k.a Natette, Lutaya a.k.a  Kabaliga, Shafik, Irene, Kasule Peter and Bugembe a.k.a Ruster Body.

Sc Villa is to record statements with Uganda Police and the FUFA Match Integrity Committee for investigations into the matter until the culprits are brought to book.

FUFA appeals to people with more information in regard to the matter to report to the Match Integrity Committee to help with further investigations.

Say No to Hooliganism & Violence at Football Events

Actions of hooliganism and violence at football events may temporarily or permanently hurt, harm, injure and/or damage human beings, their properties and may end up causing permanent disability or even death in the worst-case scenario.

FUFA Condemns in the strongest terms acts of hooliganism and violence. There is no justification whatsoever for such barbaric acts in the beautiful game. FUFA calls upon all well-intended persons and entities to condemn and fight Hooliganism and Violence at Football events.
