Following persistent deviation from the Football Rules and the FIFA-facilitated Jinja Declaration by the Uganda Super League Limited (USLL), FUFA suspended the authority extended to USLL to run the Uganda Super League.
Following the agreement jointly reached between FUFA and USLL and witnessed by the National Council of Sports on 16th September 2011 to correct the deviations and the respective schedules of implementation, FUFA hereby informs the football fraternity that;
- The suspension has been lifted
- The Uganda Super League season 2011/12 has officially kick-off with the matches played on Friday 16th September 2011
- Referees have been appointed to officiate the matches in accordance with FUFA, CAF and FIFA Rules
- All matches played before 16th September 2011 are null and void and the said fixtures will be rescheduled by the USLL
- The clubs have been invited to the FUFA Licensing Board to ascertain their respective FUFA Club and Players Licenses Status
- The 2011/12 FUFA Competitions Rules and the FUFA-approved Uganda Super League Rules have released to the clubs and the Uganda Super League Limited
