FUFA Media Services Limited (102.1 FUFA fm and FUFA Tv) staff are currently undergoing a FUFA Administration and Management Course (FAMACO I) at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
The workshop that got underway on Monday, will run up to Friday, equipping the new staff with football knowledge.
FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim is the chief facilitator at the five-day workshop.
He indicated that the purpose of this Course is prepare the new recruits before commencing work.
‘We have alot of belief in you and we shall support you in all possible ways. We have invested alot in this project and being here is not by mistake but to polish you before we fully get started. The ball is now in your hands to prove us right or wrong.’ He said during the opening day.
Over 40 staff members are in Njeru. Facilitators lecture on different topics including FUFA and its development programmes, football governance and administration.
The workshop also provides an opportunity to equip the new staff with more knowledge about media practices and principles.
FUFA EXCO Members Ronnie Kalema and Rogers Byamukama, FUFA Football Development Director Ali Mwebe, FUFA Deputy CEO-Football, Decolas Kiiza and FUFA Human Resource Capacity Building Manager, Jackson Nyima are the other facilitators.
It should noted that FUFA Media Services Limited advertised job opportunities with over 600 applicants turning up for interviews. All successful applicants were considered for the course.
