FUFA has learnt with deep shock, the death of Mr. Hassan Biruma Mawanda-father of Uganda Cranes player Hassan Wasswa.
Mr. Biruma passed away on Monday 11th December 2017.
In a condolense statement signed off by the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo;
‘FUFA knows that no words can best describe the deceased’s contribution to Ugandan football as he was a National icon and KCCA FC star who served his country unselfishly’
‘On my own behalf, Executive Members, Member Associations of FUFA, Uganda Players, the entire football community and all football loving Ugandans; I wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the Family, Friends, Relatives and KCCA FC upon the loss of our Elder’
We however thank God for his life and pray that the Almighty judges him with a kind heart for his earthily deeds.Mr. Biruma will be buired later today in Masaka. FUFA will ve represented by Executive Committee Member Hamid Juma and Other secretariat staff.
