FUFA has learnt with shock the death of Mr. Chris Rwanika.
Rwanika who served as General Secretary of FUFA during the Denis Obua led administration passed on Tuesday. He was also FUFA President in 1985.
‘We have received the sad news of the loss of Chris Rwanika. The sport has been hit by tough times in the past one week where we lost football fans and players from Buliisa who died on Lake Albert when their boat they were using capsized and then Uganda Crested Cranes player Gladys Nakitto lost her father’ said FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo.
‘Chris Rwanika was an integral part in recording keeping at FUFA. The current generation of football leaders and in administration learnt alot from him. His vast knowledge on football history in Uganda clearly showed how much he loved the game’ added Magogo.
Burial arrangements will be released in due course.
