FUFA names Committee to review football rules and regulations for 2016/2017 season

FUFA has appointed an 11 man committee to review and draw where appropriate new rules and regulations for the 2016/2017 football season.

At the end of each football season, FUFA reviews its rules in preparation for the incoming season.

The Committee to be headed by FUFA President is expected to present proposed draft regulations for consideration of the FUFA Executive Committee by 15th June, 2016.

The review will also look at the rules and regulations for transfer of players, registration of football academies, club licensing, coaching license and authorized FUFA competitions .

The Committee has; Eng. Moses Magogo (Chairman), Dr. Patrick Bernard Ogwel (Vice Chairman,  Mwebe Ali (Secretary), Members; Bainamani Bernard Bampaire, Lukambi Denis, Musinguzi Johnson, Bakkabulindi William, Barungi Henry, Masiko John Bosco, Mukatabala Paul, Kalema Ronnie

In a circular issued by the FUFA Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson to all stakeholders, the committee will also organize a workshop with representation of the public before making the final proposals to FUFA.

‘The entire football public is invited to submit proposals for consideration of the committee. Stakeholders affected by the specific regulations being drawn may also be invited for consultation’ said FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein during the weekly press conference at FUFA House.

Hussein added ‘FUFA calls upon the entire public to co-operate with the committee in preparation of an exciting 2016/2017 football season’

  • Azam Uganda Premier League Rules and Regulations
  • FUFA Uganda Cup Rules and Regulations
  • FUFA Big League Rules and Regulations
  • FUFA Lower League Rules and Regulations
  • FUFA Women Elite League Rules and Regulations
  • FUFA Women’s Cup Rules and Regulations
  • FUFA Juniors League Rules and Regulations
  • FUFA Authorised Competitions Rules and Regulations
  • FUFA Rules and Regulations on status and transfer of Players
  • FUFA Clubs Licensing Rules and Regulations
  • Football Academy Registration rules and regulations
  • Football Coaching License Rules and Regulations
