FUFA Polls 2017: Kubingi, Nkalubo, Bulega voted as delegates to represent women in FUFA

Experienced Margaret Kubingi,Owek. Bagunywa Florence Nkalubo and Fraidah Bulega have been elected unopposed to represent women football interests in the FUFA Assembly.

Kubingi was also voted as the Chairperson of the Uganda Women Football Association (UWFA).

Today’s elections concluded the line-up of the 88 delegates to the FUFA Assembly.

The UWFA will have Kubingi and Owek. Nkalubo as the two delegates to represent the Association inthe FUFA Assembly for the period 2017-2021.

Bulega Faridah of Kampala Queens is the delegate for the 15 FUFA Women Elite League clubs.

The exercise to vote the three candidates was conducted at FUFA House in Mengo but at separate time slots.

The UWFA also elected the rest of the Executive Committee members in an exercise supervised by the FUFA Electoral Committee Vice Chairman Yusuf Awuye.
