The exercise for the ongoing FUFA elections continued this week with delegates voted into office to represent their respective Districts.
The FUFA Electoral Committee finalized the exercise in Hoima and Nebbi Districts
Here are the delegates and chairmen voted this week;
Nebbi: Onwang Andrew, Munguriek Fredrick (DFA Delegates), Ogen Gerald (Chairman)
Hoima: Agaba Edgar, Ayebale James (DFA Delegates), Dema Gabriel (Chairman)
Polling exercise at the FUFA Regional Football Associations (RFAs) underway
All the FUFA 8 RFAs will take part in 4 sets of elections that started on 3rd May and will end on 20th May, 2017. The exercise started with the display of registers, nominations followed by declaration of the candidates to vie for the slots to the FUFA Assembly that votes the FUFA Executive.
The polling exercise for the regional level has;
Nomination Process 3rd-12th May, 2017
Declaration of candidates 16th May, 2017
Voting dates at RFAs 18th-20th May, 2017
The 4 sets of Elections at Regional Level are;
- Election of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to their Respective National SIG Assemblies
- Election of the Executive Committee of RFA
- Election of one (1) Third Division League Delegate to the FUFA Assembly (Elected by 3rd Division club officials-one of either Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer)
- Election of five (5) 4th Division Delegates to the FUFA Assembly
