FUFA Electoral Committee is set to conduct polls for the Women representation in the FUFA General Assembly. Three delegates will be voted with two of them representing the Uganda Women Football Association while the other is for the 15 FUFA Women Elite League clubs.
It is mandatory the candidates to be women but the elective Assembly can include male officials from the clubs and schools attached to women football.
The two Elective Assemblies are set for 15th June, 2017 at FUFA House starting 10am.
Nomination process for the FUFA Executive Committee
The FUFA Electoral Committee Chairman Sam Bakiika has confirmed that all aspiring candidates for the FUFA Executive Committee will start picking forms from Monday 12th to 14th June, 2017 at FUFA House.
‘Our entire Electoral team will be at FUFA House to receive aspiring candidates to guide them on the modalities of the exercise. We shall start at 9am each day till the closure time of picking forms’ said Bakiika.
The process which starts on 10th June and ends on 22nd June, 2017 will handle release of voters’ register, picking and returning nomination forms, declaration of candidates and grace period of receiving petitions and hearing appeals if any.
The FUFA Executive Committee will be elected on 5th August, 2017 in Masindi.
