Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President Eng. Moses Magogo has praised the 91st Ordinary General Assembly held by the North East region on the 26th and 27th September 2015 at Soroti Hotel.
The president was addressing the media on Wednesday, 30th September 2015 during the weekly press conference at FUFA House in Mengo.
Eng, Magogo was flanked by the FUFA communications director, Ahmed Hussein, Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin Sredojevic and the FUFA Competitions director, Ali Mwebe.
His speech, which was broadcast live on the football radio, 102.1FUFA f.m hinged around three major aspects.
He hinted about outcomes from the 91st FUFA ordinary assembly.
Key of the outcomes of the ordinary general assembly was the successful amendments of the FUFA Statures in the constitution in line with the agenda of the world’s governing football body.
The constitutional reforms were mandated upon by FIFA. Part of the reforms was the addition of the ethics and integrity committee along with audit and compliance committee to supplement the two already existing disciplinary and Appeals committees
The approval of the FUFA activity report by the delegates was yet another milestone at the assembly. (See detailed Acitvity Report 2015)
He highlighted about the FUFA accountability that was presented at the assembly.
For the record, the financial report was submitted thirty days early to all the FUFA delegates for study before it was presented at the assembly
He also noted about the increment in referees’ allowances were multiplied by 100 percent with an urgent promise of clearing the outstanding arrears within the next three months.
The president remarked about the appointment of the new Uganda Premier league club board headed by Arinaitwe Ruyegendo.

It was an inter-reactive press conference as the FUFA president accorded members of the media a special time to ask on areas that needed clarification.
He concluded his speech with a message of congratulation for Singo county for winning 2015 Masaza Cup tournament.
