Quotes from the two leaders:

Eng, Moses Magogo:

Your majesty, we believe in culture. Culture shapes the moral value of people. We came up with this idea of Ugandans celebrating their ancestry. We are a country of 33 million people and we come from different parts of this country. We are using the game of football for the people to celebrate where they are coming from. There are 16 provinces (Tooro, Busoga, Teso, Bugisu, Sebei, Buganda, Lango, Kigezi, Acholi, Rwenzori, Kampala, Bunyoro, Bukedi, Ankole,  Karamoja and West Nile. Started in the month of February 2018. We are here because we want you to accept us, accept our appreciation and a few gifts with the gifts as a symbol of celebrating our ancestry and culture. There are a number of footballers who come from this Province and play at the highest level. We asked them to take part and we know there are potential footballers who can be used for national team duty from this province. I call upon the people of Tooro to come in lareg numbers and support their Tooro Province team against West Nile.

King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV:

You are very welcome to Toro Kingdom. We have the most beautiful weather in the country. You are more than welcome to come back again

I want to thank you on the mission that you are on of bringing the different cultures together through football. It is a very important thing for young people to succeed. A lot of young people have the talent. This tournament will help to expose those talent. It will be an eye opener to very many scouts who happen to come and look at the young talents. I want to thank you and your team for the gifts. We shall definitely work with you. I only advise you to continue with that work. Myself, i am a sports person and football a lot of football. I also play football in my free time for exercising and relieving from the hectic work schedule i have. I thank you all and may God Bless you
