The President of Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Eng. Moses Magogo will leave for Zurich, Switzerland this weekend to attend the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony.
Magogo was invited by the world soccer governing body FIFA.
It is such invitations and visits that have helped Uganda land programmes from FIFA.
Recently the federation was blessed with the first ever FIFA Live Your Goals project in Arica which was launched at KCCA Stadium, Lugogo.
While in Zurich, Magogo will make use of the opportunity to discuss matters concerning Ugandan football.
The President of the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), Mr. Joseph Sepp Blatter with FUFA President, Engineer Moses Magogo on an official visit to Zurich, the Head Quarters of the world’s soccer governing body during a special visit between 22nd to 25th May 2014.
With the FUFA symposium coming up on 23rd January, 2015 at Imperial Royale, the FUFA president will be extending invitations to the football family to come over to Uganda.
Eng.Magogo leaves tomorrow.
The three-man shortlist for the award has 2014 FIFA World Cup winner (Manuel Neuer), the 2014 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball winner (Lionel Messi) and the holder (Cristiano Ronaldo).
