For the visible and incredible deeds the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) president, Eng. Moses Magogo has undertaken as the head of the Ugandan F.A during the past two years, the world’s football governing body, FIFA has always taken a keen eye.
Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has henceforth appointed the insightful football administrator on the committee of Security and integrity.
In a special communication to FUFA, from the office of the Secretary General of the world’s football governing body FIFA in Zurich, Jerome Valcke wrote;
“We are pleased to inform you that you have been appointed as a member of the security and integrity committee. We wish you success and enjoyment in this role at FIFA and look forward to welcoming you soon in Zurich”
When www.fufa.co.ug contacted the FUFA President he was quick to respond;
‘I am ready to serve football. The appointment gives me the honour to take my football skills to an international level.
Eng. Magogo is also a member of CAF Inter-clubs competitions committee headed by CAF President, Issa Hayattou.
He will be traveling to Cairo next month for his maiden attendance of the meeting for the committee.
Meanwhile, the FUFA President has been appointed to as match commissioner for the CAF Champions league match between Smouha of Egypt and El Hilal of Sudan.
The match has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, 12th September 2015 in Alexandria.
This fixture will be handled by South African referees with Eng. Magogo the appointed match commissioner as CECAFA’s secretary general, Nicholas Musonye is the match coordinator.
