Less than 24 hours after a meeting with the Chief Executive Officers of the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL)clubs, the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo had another interface with the coaches of the top flight and National teams today at FUFA House.
It was a full board attendance and matters presented and discussed were mainly on how the coaches can improve on the beautiful game o football.
Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic also attended the meeting in which the FUFA President guided the coaches on club licensing, coaches symposium, coaching education and improving on the product.
The meeting was also attended by the members of the FUFA Technical Committee headed by Hamid Juma.
‘You can turn around the fortunes of this game to a very good product. The coaches and players make the game beautiful’ said FUFA President Eng.Moses Magogo.
The FUFA President also assured the coaches that there will be a Coaches Symposium in the near future. It will bring together the National team coaches and the rest of the tacticians in Uganda.
The coaches were also advised to take the coaching education as a serious component of their career as it will help them improve on their jobs when employed by clubs.
The FUFA President also reminded the coaches that no one will be allowed to handle a club in the AUPL and FBL if they don’t meet the minimum requirements.
The meeting also comes a few weeks after FUFA renewed their partnership with the German Football Federation (DFB).
The latest development has already seen two coaches benefit from the renewal of the partnership as Mujib Kasule and Matia Lule will travel to Germany for a coaching course.
FUFA has already started verification of the coaches’ certification for CAF Assessment and have been given a deadline of Monday 27th July, 2015 to submit their papers.
