FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo and his Executive have on Monday morning met members of various standing committees at FUFA House, Mengo. It is the first time in his second term of office for the FUFA President to hold such meetings. Magogo was re-elected FUFA President on 5th August 2017 in Masindi.

According to the FUFA President, these are statutory meetings for all the 14 standing Committees. He briefed the members on the general guidelines and procedure of how the Committees operate.

‘The Committee meetings help members to participate in decision making at an early for any project started before ideas are presented to the FUFA Executive that meets quarterly’ said Magogo.

The 14 Committees will hold a total of 42 meetings with some superseding others depending on the internal activities at the Secretariat.
‘The set meetings are standard but we can’t do away with situational and emergency meetings according to the needs available’ added the FUFA President.

Eng. Magogo further called upon members of the various committees to appreciate the digital era by convening online meetings and also write down their ideas, present them to the Committee Secretaries (designated FUFA Staff by the CEO) to include them on the agenda for discussion when a physical meeting is set.

Several meetings have been lined for this week. On Monday, the FUFA Competitions Committee, Development Committee, Safety and Security met in the morning while the International Match Organising Committee (IMOC) and Players’ Status Committee in the afternoon.
